Finally...........we have arrived at our destination. I will be serving at Camp Basrah for the next six months and things seems to be okay. I'm assigned to a forward surgical team, and we basically do the initial surgical/resuscitation on all trauma patients and then fly them out. My living arrangements are great considering we are in a war zone. We took care of our first trauma today, which wasn't too bad (not an American), and I was quickly reminded that I was in Iraq tonight when we were attacked by rockets. Nothing like low crawling through 100 degree weather to a crowed bunker......:)) Anyway, we've got a good group of surgeons and medics here so it should be a good deployment. Shannon and the kids are plugging along. Please keep them in your thoughts.........later.

This is a site to say hello to all of our family and friends that we don't get to see that much because of our travels with the Army. We hope this is a place for our family and friends to check out photos of the kids and see what we are up to.........
